Giving Back To The Community: HydroHoist Lake of the Ozarks

HHLOZ Giving Back To The Community with Charity RegattaGiving back to the community is a huge part of the HydroHoist family. For the last three years, HydroHoist Lake of the Ozarks has had the opportunity to give back through the Kids’ Harbor Cup Charity Regatta.

Organized by the Ozark Yacht Club, the Charity Regatta includes a one-day sailboat race in which participants sail, crew or cheer on participants while raising funds to support Kids Harbor, a local child advocacy center in Osage Beach, MO.

“It’s an honor to take part in events such as these that are not only fun but give back to our Lake of the Ozarks community,” said JoAnne Clark, HydroHoist Lake of the Ozarks Area Manager.

This year, HydroHoist Lake of the Ozarks donated a boat protection package to help raise funds through the silent auction portion of the event.

Kids’ Harbor, Inc., is a Child Advocacy Center serving the Lake of the Ozarks area in central Missouri, Fort Leonard Wood and surrounding areas. This agency assists victims of child abuse and their non-offending family members as they make their way through the difficult and often frightening process of a child abuse investigation.

Kids’ Harbor was established in Camdenton, Missouri by a task force of concerned community members in 2001. A satellite office in St. Robert, Missouri was opened in 2005 and the Camdenton office moved to Osage Beach, Missouri in 2006. Both centers are nationally accredited by the National Children’s Alliance. (Courtesy:
